Truthfully, it seemed quite surreal Wednesday. Not just that Woody Durham was officially retiring from his prestigious post as “The Voice of the Tar Heels,” switching off the microphone after 40 years and more than 1,800 broadcasts, but that he seemed to be doing so in such an apologetic fashion.
