College basketball recruiting on Tobacco Road has seen a hot April

James McAdoo, a UNC recruit, has long been considered a dynamic, can't-miss Class of 2011 prospect. In fact, in the national rankings put together by ESPN, Scout and Rivals, McAdoo is ranked fifth, seventh, and eighth, respectively. Yet, quite truthfully, he hasn't been at the center of recruiting conversations very often the last two years. More often than not, McAdoo's talents have been overshadowed somewhat with the more stirring recruiting chatter revolving around the ridiculous recruiting class Kentucky has put together and the dazzling scoring abilities of Duke pledge Austin Rivers.
