John Cannon to Northwestern looks likely

John Cannon is not tipping his hand, though perhaps an offer to put a Chicago reporter on his text-message announcement list can be taken as a good sign. More significant is that Northwestern coaches have put in significant time with Cannon and his family, starting with Mitch Henderson – who last week became Princeton’s head coach – and Tavaras Hardy, who recently spent a seven-hour day schmoozing with Cannon and watching him work out at Mountain Heritage.
