Alex Stepheson unlikely to play vs. Clemson
Posted Jan 5, 2008
North Carolina coach Roy Williams does not expect reserve forward Alex Stepheson to play Sunday when the top-ranked Tar Heels (14-0) visit No. 19 Clemson (12-1) for both teams' ACC opener. Stepheson returned home to Los Angeles on Wednesday because his father, Art Stepheson, is ill. Alex Stepheson is North Carolina's third-leading rebounder at 4.8 per game, and a time frame for his return is uncertain.
