Quentin Thomas could be key for Heels

Bobby Frasor is out. Obviously. Forward Alex Stepheson will miss top-ranked North Carolina's game at Clemson on Sunday while he continues to spend time with his father, who is ill and back in Stepheson's native California. UNC coach Roy Williams expects Quentin Thomas to play against the No. 19 Tigers (12-1), but the backup point guard missed the last two games with a sprained left ankle and might not be at 100 percent.
