UNC gets commitment from 6-foot-10 junior

North Carolina’s basketball program received its first verbal commitment from the Class of 2009 on Thursday when big man John Henson out of Round Rock, Texas, announced his decision to play in Chapel Hill. Henson, a 6-foot-10, 200-pound power forward, is ranked as the 25th best player in the junior class by Rivals.com.
