For the past two weeks, North Carolina men's basketball coach Roy Williams has constantly reminded his team that its mid-major foes were pretty dad-gum good opponents. That was particularly important Wednesday night at the Smith Center. The top-ranked Tar Heels had to overcome the absence of three key reserves, plus a first-half defensive lapse, to blow out Kent State 90-61 and remain undefeated.
