McDowell junior Greg Garmon, a major-college football recruit, has narrowed his list of schools to six. Garmon, a running back, is still considering Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and West Virginia, McDowell coach Mark Soboleski said Tuesday. Garmon, a 6-foot 2-inch, 200-pound all-state selection, has been the object of a recruiting competition between many Division I schools.
