Crowded lobby shares Jackson Simmons' moment

A short stroll from the gym where Jackson Simmons put on some of his best performances, the Smoky Mountain senior gave a packed house one more reason to cheer Tuesday morning. Some 150 family members, fans, coaches, teachers and friends — including recent North Carolina women's player Cetera DeGraffenreid - crowded into the high school lobby and celebrated as Simmons signed his letter of intent to play college basketball at North Carolina next season.
