Vitale Gala very much a worthy cause

The most difficult speech Dick Vitale will deliver this year is the one he will give Friday night in Sarasota, Fla., at his annual Dick Vitale Gala to generate money for cancer research. Vitale and his wife, Lorraine, have hosted the event for six years. On Friday they will honor Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari, Roy Williams of North Carolina and tennis coach Nick Bollettieri while trying to raise at least $1 million for the V Foundation.
