LB Darreon Herring commits to Vandy

Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson LB Darreon Herring couldn't wait any longer and made his college choice on Wednesday night. "I committed to Vanderbilt," Herring said. "Vandy is the place where I want to be. They have great academics and the program is on the rise. It's just a great opportunity for me." Herring, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, committed to the Commodores over North Carolina, Clemson, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech.
