Tar Heels trounce James Madison, seize control of regional

North Carolina’s baseball team unveiled something to compete for attention with starting pitcher Patrick Johnson. A sometimes-stagnant offense was deserving of adoration as well Saturday night as the Tar Heels pounced on James Madison 14-0 in the winners’ bracket game of the Chapel Hill regional at Boshamer Stadium.
