Twins select versatile Levi Michael with first pick
Posted Jun 7, 2011
Levi Michael said he was "super surprised" to hear his name called. When he did, it was because the Minnesota Twins selected the junior shortstop from the University of North Carolina, with the 30th pick in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft. "The weight, the anticipation was building up," Michael said in a conference call with reporters after he was picked.
