Patrick Johnson standing tall for Tar Heels

Patrick Johnson, a right-hander, has been a giant on the mound for North Carolina this season. He has a 12-1 record, with wins in his past six appearances, and has a streak of 23 consecutive scoreless innings in his last three games. He will probably be North Carolina's starting pitcher on Friday against Stanford in the opener of the NCAA's Chapel Hill Super Regional.
