It could be easy to summarize North Carolina’s starting pitching because the Tar Heels have been so good on the mound. Yet going into the opener of today’s NCAA super regional against Stanford, there are differences. First will be senior Patrick Johnson, a 5-foot-11 right-hander. Then comes freshman Kent Emanuel, a 6-4 left-hander.
