Patrick Johnson put in work Friday afternoon, painting corners with sliders and pounding fastballs inside on Stanford hitters. North Carolina's senior right-hander turned in a splendid performance that - along with a two-run homer by Seth Baldwin in the seventh - helped carry the Tar Heels to a 5-2 victory in their best-of-3 NCAA Super Regional series at Boshamer Stadium.
