Theo Pinson selected for USA Basketball U16 national team


Greensboro native , ranked last month as the No. 1 overall player in the Class of 2014 by ESPN, was one of 12 basketball players named to the 2011 USA U16 National Team on Monday. Pinson (6-6, 175) was selected out of a group of 24 players participating in a developmental training camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. He is the only one from the group from North Carolina. (Greensboro News & Record)
