Fans invited to join UNC baseball send-off before Omaha

The national No. 3 seeded North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team earned their fifth College World Series bid in six years this past weekend with a sweep of Stanford. But before they depart for Omaha, Mike Fox's squad wants to invite all the fans to a send-off. The Heels will leave Boshamer Stadium Thursday at 1 p.m. and all fans are encouraged to join.
