College football recruiting: Wolfpack, Tar Heels bag big-play talent

The search for athletes who can consistently make spectacular and clutch plays is never ending for college recruiters. But the coaching staffs at N.C. State and North Carolina managed to land two such talents after hosting those players on campus recently. The Tar Heels gained a pledge from in-state prospect Kedrick Davis of Charlotte's Phillip O'Berry Academy of Technology.
