Tar Heels win easily, but lose top reserve

North Carolina got a costly victory last night at the Smith Center, beating Nevada but losing valuable reserve Bobby Frasor for the season with a knee injury. North Carolina won 106-70 behind Wayne Ellington and Tyler Hansbrough, who combined for 49 points. North Carolina improved to 12-0 but any joy in victory was lost because of Frasor’s injury, a torn anterior-cruciate ligament.
