Tar Heels leave Omaha proud


The Tar Heels' bats went cold at exactly the wrong time in the season, and for the ninth time in program history they left the CWS without a national title. But despite going 1-2 in Omaha, UNC catcher made it clear he was also proud of everything this year's squad had accomplished. "It's certainly disappointing, but it's nothing that will overshadow our season," Stallings said. (Durham Herald-Sun)
