North Carolina coach Butch Davis has taken the slow-and-steady approach to recruiting thus far, adding five commits in the past month to bring the Tar Heels’ total to 10. Davis has been fighting off all kinds of rumors surrounding the UNC football program but was still able to beat out Clemson and South Carolina to land Justin Meredith this month, one of the nation’s top tight end prospects.
