Keith Marshall, Todd Gurley win national track titles


Keith Marshall of Millbrook and Todd Gurley of Tarboro won national track and field competitions Wednesday and probably earned invitations to represent the United States in the world youth championships next month in France. Marshall won the 100 meters in 10.64 seconds while Gurley claimed the 110-meter high hurdles in 13.88 at the 2011 World Youth Trials at Myrtle Beach, S.C. Marshall and Gurley are both being recruited on the national level for football. (Raleigh News & Observer)
