Shalane Flanagan Wins In 10000 Meters At US Track and Field Championships

UNC alum Shalane Flanagan competed in the US Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend in Eugene, Oregon, and qualified for the 2011 IAAF World Championships by winning the 10,000 meter race. During her amazing career at Carolina, Flanagan won two straight NCAA cross country national championships in 2002 and 2003 along with school track records in the 1,500 meters, 3,000 meters, and 5,000 meters.
