Football, basketball players among ACC service award winners

North Carolina’s Sam Ellis: A senior offensive lineman for the Tar Heels, Ellis is the co-chair of the campus YMCA’s Big Buddy program. Through his three-year involvement with the program, he has encouraged other members of the football team to become big buddies, helping at-risk youngsters in the community.
