Colin Moran Earns Perfect Game Freshman Hitter Of The Year Honor


was named the Freshman Hitter of the Year by Perfect Game on Thursday after helping lead the Tar Heels to the ninth College World Series appearance in school history. Moran finished with a team-high .335 average and a league-leading 71 RBI in his initial campaign. Freshman left-handed pitcher was also named to the squad. (Tar Heel Blue)
