PG Recruit L.J. Rose regrouping after his UNC dreams fell through

Although a proud product of Texas basketball, L.J. Rose’s dream always had been to wear Carolina blue. He wanted to be a Tar Heel. He saw himself running fast breaks for and being high-fived along Franklin Street afterward. He just didn’t move fast enough to bring that dream to life. North Carolina needed one point guard for its 2012 recruiting class, and of Marion, Iowa, made up his mind and grabbed that available scholarship before Rose was comfortable making a decision.
