Peach Jam Day Two Notebook: Tyus Jones
Posted Jul 13, 2011
With a weak crop of point guards in 2012 and the best 2013 ones not in attendance at Peach Jam, many onlookers have been highly-impressed with the play of rising sophomore Tyus Jones. The 6-foot point guard from Apple Valley (Minn.) controls tempo very effectively and knows how to find teammates on the run. Although it’s early, Jones has offers from Iowa and Baylor, with interest coming from Minnesota, Michigan State, Ohio State, Arizona, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Florida.
