Mitch McGary Climbing Up Recruiting Lists
Posted Jul 16, 2011
Mitch McGary is a five-star power forward who has experienced a quick ascent to the top of recruiting rankings after not even being a starter a year ago. The 6-foot-10 McGary has done something rare for a young basketball talent – listened to his coaches. And it’s worked. McGary is the second-ranked player at his position – and fifth overall – for the class of 2012, according to Rivals.com. He’s drawn the attention from all of the sport’s blue bloods, including North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Connecticut, Texas, Arizona and Maryland.
