QB Patton Robinette motivated by last season's finish
Posted Jul 16, 2011
Patton Robinette has derived offseason motivation from missing the second half of last season's Class 6A state championship. The Maryville senior quarterback and North Carolina commitment wants to finish what he started and experience an on-field title celebration. Robinette suffered a first-half concussion against Smyrna. Maryville went on to win 23-21 to capture its first state title since 2007. "I don't remember anything that happened," he said. "I was pretty nervous (watching it later)."
