Roy Williams returns to his birthplace for ceremony

Under a Carolina blue sky, UNC basketball Coach Roy Williams came back Monday to the place of his birth and helped dedicate a marker which states that he is a native son of Marion. “I don’t mind having it up – especially if it ticks off some Duke fans,” said Williams to the cheering crowd in front of the Marion City Hall.
