UNC struggles past Nicholls State

Considering Nicholls State was picked to finish 11th in the Southland Conference's preseason poll, many in Wednesday's Smith Center crowd likely expected a North Carolina blowout. So, unfortunately, did the Tar Heels. Playing what junior Marcus Ginyard called "our worst game since I've been here,'' top-ranked UNC survived, rather than thrived, in an 88-78 victory.
