UNC coach Butch Davis never considered resigning despite probe

University of North Carolina head football coach Butch Davis said Monday during the Atlantic Coach Conference's annual preseason media summit that he never contemplated resigning his position, even in light of negative publicity resulting from allegations of an NCAA investigation into rules violations and improper conduct.
