For the Tar Heels’ sake, they were lucky their All-American forward [Tyler Hansbrough] showed the durability and toughness he did. Hansbrough scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to rescue top-ranked UNC in what was an otherwise unimpressive 88-78 defeat of visiting Nicholls State in the Tar Heels’ first home game in 29 days.
