Stuart Scott to get Jimmy V award

UNC graduate and famed ESPN personality Stuart Scott will be honored with the 2011 Spirit of Jimmy V Award at the annual Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic on Aug. 27. The award, named for the late NC State coach Jim Valvano, honors people who are dedicated to the fight against cancer and personify Valvano's famed "Don't Ever Give Up" spirit. Scott is in his second battle with cancer. (WRAL Sports Fan)
