Butch Davis fired as UNC coach

Butch Davis has been fired as the head football coach of the University of North Carolina according to multiple sources. The Board of Trustees met Wednesday starting at 1 p.m. with a closed door session as part of the schedule. According to the agenda, closed door items included meetings with the Audit and Finance Committee and the University Affairs committee. (WRAL Sports Fan)
