Butch Davis out as UNC football coach

Inside Carolina has confirmed through multiple sources that Butch Davis is being terminated as head coach of the North Carolina football program. A UNC official contacted Wednesday afternoon would neither confirm or deny rumors about Davis's job security, saying only: "The chancellor met with the Board of Trustees to discuss the future of the football program today."
