UNC receiver Jhay Boyd stands up for ousted UNC coach
Posted Jul 27, 2011
Jheranie Boyd said he and many of his UNC teammates were shocked when news came down on the firing of head football coach Butch Davis. He also said there have been rumblings that players recruited by Davis may leave the program. “Some guys have been calling each other and have said they might want to leave,” Boyd said. “All of this basically started because of Twitter. I’m pissed at him (Austin) for messing with our futures and our season.”
