UNC leaders to explain coaching change

Chancellor Holden Thorp and Director of Athletics Dick Baddour are expected to face tough questions about the timing of their decision to replace as the head football coach at UNC when they meet the media Thursday at 11 a.m. In addition to the name of an interim head coach, fans and foes want to know why Thorp chose Wednesday – eight days before the start of practice for the 2011 season – to make the move.
