More questions left unanswered after the UNC press conference

UNC chancellor Holden Thorp's decision to fire head football coach could cost the university $2.7 million. That's the payout Holden said UNC is likely to owe Davis. Athletic director Dick Baddour also announced that he will step down before his scheduled retirement next year in order to allow a new person to conduct the search for the Tar Heels next football coach. An interim coach from among Davis' staff will be selected within the next 24 hours. (Fayetteville Observer)
