Everett Withers named UNC's coach, for now


New North Carolina football coach is sitting on "G" and waiting for "O." The man is ready to get at it. Withers, the defensive coordinator the last three years for the Tar Heels, was named the interim head coach Friday, replacing , who was fired suddenly Wednesday amidst a myriad of NCAA allegations. Withers will have the job through the entire 2011 season, but after that, nobody knows what will happen with UNC's program. (Fox Sports South)
