UNC awards three scholarships; Jackson, Willis will not return

North Carolina interim head coach Everett Withers announced Friday he has awarded scholarships for the 2011 season to fullback Curtis Byrd, deep snapper Mark House and holder Trase Jones. Withers also announced that junior cornerback Mywan Jackson will not return to the program and sophomore defensive tackle Brandon Willis will transfer.
