5-star DE Noah Spence lists UNC in top-7

Bishop McDevitt defensive end Noah Spence, one of the top five overall football recruits in the country for the class of 2012, has narrowed his long list of scholarship offers to seven. The 6-4, 240-pound Spence will take all five of his official visits this fall, and some unofficial visits as well, before making a final decision. Penn State made the final cut. Maryland is another member of the final seven. Spence’s dad, Greg, has roots in North Carolina, so it’s no surprise the UNC Tar Heels and North Carolina State found their way into the final equation.
