Cody Stubbs doesn't sign with Nationals, will play for Heels


Former Tuscola baseball star did not agree to a contract with the Washington Nationals prior to midnight Tuesday, the deadline for Major League Baseball draft picks to sign. The Nationals selected Stubbs in the 14th round of the MLB draft in June. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
