Why Isaiah Hicks’ early commitment is so important for UNC

(With his commitment out of the way, Isaiah Hicks) can spend his next two seasons focusing on becoming a Tar Heel while having time and geography on his side to learn even more about the program he is joining. Current Tar Heels sophomore Reggie Bullock committed to Carolina in the middle of his sophomore year. Incoming freshman P.J. Hairston committed to UNC before his junior year. Such prolonged exposure gave both players a chance to get a far more intimate understanding of the program.
