Jonathan Smith admits that he’s got a great deal to prove this fall, not only to himself but to Tar Heel fans that stuck by him and his teammates through incredible adversity, including the recent firing of head coach Butch Davis. “All in all, our fans really supported us. They continued to give us and show us support, and that was really big and helped us a lot with the process,” Smith said.
