The distractions and pressure from outside forces continue to haunt this program into training camp and the season, with the firing of Coach Butch Davis and a date with the NCAA looming in October. None of it has dampened Bryn Renner’s enthusiasm or desire to win football games, however. “Training camp and 12 games are a long haul,” Renner said. “Every day in practice, I try to get everybody’s energy and enthusiasm up.”
