ACC football recruiting breakdown

North Carolina Tar Heels, Commitments: 12 - Who they have: The Tar Heels have managed to keep their head above water after coach ' sudden and untimely firing last month. In response to the upheaval, North Carolina lost one commitment, cornerback Nathan Dortch from Fort Myers (Fla.) South, who committed to Miami. Who they still want: Whoever they can keep. While North Carolina survived the early storm of changeover, it's far from national signing day. For its 2012 class to thrive (and survive), North Carolina will need to show stability, some hope via wins this fall and a somewhat-clear record with the NCAA. (ESPN.com)
