Meet The Heels Cancelled Due To Hurricane Irene

North Carolina's "Meet The Heels" football event, scheduled for Saturday (Aug. 27) evening at 6 p.m., has been cancelled due to the potential for inclement weather and dangerous winds from Hurricane Irene. "The safety of our players, coaches and fans is our top priority," said Associate Athletic Director for Marketing Rick Steinbacher.
