Jonathan Cooper steps into spotlight as Tar Heel leader


The old saying goes that offensive linemen are only noticed when they do something wrong. North Carolina guard has gone a long way toward dispelling that myth. When coach was unexpectedly fired only a week before the start of training camp, Cooper became one of the most visible members of Tar Heels while taking on the responsibility as an unofficial team spokesman.
